AST 6501 Carbonized PTFE Packing is manufactured by heating non-asbestos polyacrylonitrile fiber into carbonized fiber, which is then braided into packing after impregnation in PTFE dispersion. This item has good heat conduction and low corrosion rate, so it is generally used in dynamic sealing in the presence of weak acid or alkaline media, or media that contains few solid particle grains. This type of packing is applicable to a wide range of applications such as rotary machine, reciprocating machine.
